Location Specific Training
(SUDHOWALA JAIL : TRAINING AND PRACTICALS)
Organised
We have organized training for the prisoners of Sudhowala Jail, Vikasnagar, Dehradun from 25-10-2016 to 30-01-2017 . The training was conducted for 90 days by UKSDM through FIHM Dehradun. In this training 62 -Prisoners was trained under Multi –Cuisine cook course.
TRAINING
During the training, the prisoners were given both practical and theoretical knowledge of Food and Production. The in-charge of this was Mr. Gupta (Jailer, Sudhowala Jail). From FIHM, Mr. Anil Tamta, Mr. Verendra Panwar and Mr. Naveen Rana hves worked on this project and helped the prisoners with their Practical.
PROGRAM
The program took place from 11AM to 3PM. In this, theoretical and practical were were conducted simultaneously. The Practicals consist of Indian Cuisine, Italian Cuisine and Chinese Cuisine. These containing various dishes that the prisoners were trained with the help of our trainers. Must say that the prisoners participated enthusiastically in this and have given their best for this. Lectures were also taken by our specialist so that they can also focus on the details of Food and Production.
COMPLETION OF PROGRAM
The completion of the program, an exam was conducted by NIESBUD. In this all the 62 prisoner students participated. Almost every students had cleared their exam. The certification was the Last step in the program in which the certificates were provided to all the prisoners who qualified the Exam. Distribution of Stationery was done by FIHM for the prisoners. The stationery contained: Notebook, Books, Bag, Pen, Eraser. The program was successfully ended on:30-01- 2017.
